Sony to unveil its SSD based notebook PC

Sony unveiled its 11.1-inch notebook pc ‘VAIO TZ18GN’, which is equipped with SSD instead of HDD.
An SSD based notebook pc features faster booting speed, lighter weight and longer battery life than existing HDD based one. The TZ18GN offers 1.15kg weight and 11.5 hours battery life which is 30 minutes longer than that of HDD notebook pc. Containing SSD based 32GB capacity, it runs on Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 1GB RAM(expandable to 2GB) and Windows Vista. Blu-ray drive is not available but it supports 8x DVD DL drive. Suggested price is 4,299(USD) which costs 700(USD) more than 100GB HDD model.
